What a weird matchup, Buckley gets a huge ranked win and next they give him Ruziboev who is coming down from a low level MW win? I like Ruziboev and this should be interesting, I just don't understand why they would offer this to Buckley or why he would take it.

Buckley asked for anyone, got himself Ruziboev, fighting down the rankings or not he said he wanted a fight and got himself one. Won't boost him up the rankings if victorious but he got what he wished for.

i would assume Ruziboev gets the win, although i wouldn't be too surprised if Buckley becomes his toughest test, after all he is going down to Welterweight

ahhh that makes a lot more sense! Thanks for the clarification, I didn't know.
Still a weird matchup but at least there's a reason.

This actually isn't too bad of a card, got some good fights on here. I mean, it's weak for an arena event, but as an apex card, this would be elite.

Anyone picking Buckley is delusional. Ruziboev slaughters him. The height difference is just too insane man. Ruziboev KO/TKO round 1

Nothing about picking Buckley is "delusional" to anyone that watched his fight with Imavov. This is a very, very good fight. I lean Buckley in this one but it's close. Ruziboev is a monster but this weight cut will be interesting.

Hadley vs Johnson

Predictions: 2 of 7 Winners, 1 Perfect, 125 Points   |   Tied for 5086th

This bout is rather peculiar, in large part because these two have polar opposite strengths and weaknesses.

What Charles lacks in takedown defense, hand power and the ability to adapt to his opponent quicker than the first round and a half, he makes up for with high volume and excellent distance management, along with sheer grit and balls.

What Hadley is good at is an overall well-rounded grappling arsenal, both on top and on his back, but has a rather undeveloped striking game and, most importantly, folds easily in midst of adversity.

I think Charles gets this based on that last factor. When Jake’s gameplan starts to fall apart, he doesn’t get a second wind, everything goes downhill. Charles could get hit face first by a leaping Dodge Challenger going 120mph, and would still be talking mad **** to the driver, all while ramming teep kicks through the windshield. My money is on the dog.

Hooper is ******

Predictions: 2 of 7 Winners, 1 Perfect, 125 Points   |   Tied for 5086th

Good ******* Christ, are they TRYING to kill this kid??? What happened to letting him warm up to subpar regional schmucks?

I will say that Chase has improved his striking, in the sense that he actually knows how to throw punches and kicks instead of just flapping about like a fish out of water whenever he’s forced into a pocket exchange, but putting him up against Viacheslav is truly horrendous matchmaking. While Viacheslav is, at best, a serviceable grappler, compared to Chase who is arguably a prodigy in his own right, Chase doesn’t have the consistent takedowns to get Viacheslav to the ground in the first place. He’s just not physically strong enough to keep the bald bastard down, Chase is built like a deep breath.

But the biggest thing that scares the **** out of me is Chase’s non-existent head movement. His head game is so bad they should call it ‘Solemny’, one punch from Viacheslav and it’s bedtime. I’m genuinely shocked how even the odds are for these two on Tapology, and lemme just say for those who are putting their money on Chase, I’d like to inform you that the lollipop factory just called, and they want you to take a picture as the world’s biggest sucker.

Viacheslav via R1 KO
